Job Purpose:
- This role requires the individual to be the lead architect for security solutions provided by Orange Romania and/or its partners to corporate customers.
- The consultants in security services practice are advisors and management consultants who can speak about the entire security landscape with a client’s senior management or executive team.
- The consultants should have depth of knowledge and experience in one of the core security domains (Security & Risk Management; Asset Security; Security Engineering; Communications & Network Security; Identity & Access Management; Security Assessment & Testing; Security Operations) and should be able to speak across the landscape as well.
Responsibilities:
- Complete understanding of Orange Romania product portfolio from technical and commercial point of view
- Awareness of competition and security vendors’ products and services portfolios
- Gathers relevant information that will fundament the integrated technical solutions proposed to the customers
- Acts as a technical and management consultant, for the customer, during the contracting (pre-sales) phase;
- Plans, prepares and presents presentations related to technical solutions and proposals;
- Reach mutual agreement with customer representatives for technical details and proposals;
- Maintains active communication with the customers’ representatives;
- Supports customers on service testing during the pre-sales phase of the sales process (e.g. proof of concept, pilot/prototype design/implementation)
- Centralize all relevant cost information for any proposed solution
- Acts as subject matter expert for security services
- Engage with TD engineering team for:
- Keeping information up-to-date
- Innovate new solutions
- Engage with B2B/B2C marketing and product management teams for:
- Proposal of new services/solutions
- Provide feedback on technical aspects of existing services/solutions
- Engage with partnership channel for:
- Market awareness
- Integration of third party services/solutions
- Engage with TD engineering team for:
- Assure project management for complex and large opportunities
- Keeps an adequate certification level (internationally recognized) for security landscape
- Improves personal knowledge base through self-learning;
- Marketing related:
- Keeps track of technological developments and market trends and propose new products and services to marketing and product development teams
- Upon request:
- Organizes technical workshops with internal customers (sales workforce)
- Acts as technical consultant for the internal customers (sales workforce)
- Acts as advisor to team members for any blocking situations
- Operational
- Reports operational activities as agreed with the direct manager

- Participate at all training session proposed by the company
- Uses all IT applications enforced by the operational flows
Professional Know-How:
- English – fluent speaking and writing
- Selling skills – good level
- Telecom and computers knowledge
- Proficiency in security architectures
Education and experience:
- University degree
- MS Office, MS Visio, MS Project software knowledge
