About the job
- Organize and oversee all security operations for Petrobrazi refinery, Power Plant and Depots and coordinates site specific security projects;
- Develop and manage security concepts to effectively identify threats, mitigate risk and facilitate a comprehensive site security program that ensures protection of infrastructure, operations and personnel.
- Manages site contracted security services personnel and the technical security systems projects and maintenance contracts;
- Manages the relation with local authorities to ensure an efficient communication, knowledge transfer and mutual support
- Acts as trusted counselor in operational security matters to management and other relevant positions, especially site-related.
- The activity will require dealing with confidential information.
- The position is accountable for assessing operational security risks, designing associated security management plans and specific procedures as well reporting security incidents, gathering operational intelligence and permanently looking for guard force optimization.
- Accountable for investigation and addressing security breaches in terms of losses, of all kind and level as well as for defining and implementing highly confidential security projects for protection of Petrobrazi refinery, Power Plant and Depots.
- Establishes the quality objectives of QMS process(es) he/she owns and monitors the achievement of those quality objectives
- Ensures proper conditions for auditing whenever the sub-department coordinated by him is audited
Your Profile
- University degree in a relevant field;
- Security Manager qualification according with Romanian law
- Security Risk Assessor qualification according with Romanian law
- Min 10 years security work experience, ideally in industrial environment and proven career-path
- Min 5 years security managerial experience with proven track record of leadership skills and responsibility, operational excellence in implementation and execution
- International professional qualifications and certifications in the security field are a plus (i.e. ASIS, ISMI, SMI )
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation in the field is a plus
- Proved operational capacity management and security expertise
- Strong knowledge of oil and gas industry specifics and complexity across the value chain
- Deep knowledge of relevant national and international regulations in all impacted business areas
- Deep knowledge of the relevant security legislation
- A strong understanding of recognized Security procedures and protocols,
- Sound knowledge of company’s relevant strategies, policies, procedures and guidelines
- Up to date with all best practice models relevant for security operations
