Security & Risk Manager – Vodafone Shared Services Romania

Your day to day:

• Direct responsibility for all Security, Risk and Policy Compliance operational activities and advice across VSS Romania business and all its functions
• Management and co-ordination of the Enterprise Risk Management process, Policy Compliance framework and Privacy for VSS Romania
• Tailoring of the Group programmes to the VSS Romania risks

Main responsibilities:

Leading support to Vodafone Shared Services Romania (as required) in all operational matters regarding:

• Business Resilience (Business Continuity & Crisis Management, Personal and Asset Security)
• Fraud Management
• Investigations
• Security Awareness
• Enterprise Risk management
• Policy and Privacy Compliance
• Responsible for the production and delivery of local strategy, policy, advice, consultancy and assurance in the above functional areas in line with Group and VSS policies/frameworks
• Responsible for setup and operation of the Vodafone Shared Services Romania (VSSR) Crisis Management Team

Professional Know-How & Experience:

• Experience of working in a global and matrixed environment
• Experience of managing multiple and conflicting priorities
• Experience of managing senior stakeholders
• Highly developed leadership skills, especially in an international environment.
• Experience with second line of defence activities across most of the responsibility areas (ideally with the full range) namely regarding risks and mitigation strategies, processes and systems.
• Effective communication and influence skills, deployable at all levels of the organisation in a matrix structure.
• Ability to act flexibly and effectively as the leader in a fast-moving and complex business environment
• Locally High – Responsible for delivering effective security and risk mgmt., policy compliance and privacy in VSSR. Delivering for both local management and Group Corporate Security and VSS Enterprise Risk Assurance

• Lead responsibility for effective crisis management and the development of a security framework, effective risk management and appropriate risk culture, adequate level of policy compliance and privacy law compliance.
• Educated to degree level

• Proficient in MS Office tools including Word, Powerpoint & Excel
• Professional and/or academic qualifications in risk management and/or compliance
• Significant relevant experience operating at a senior level in an operational security environment
