Job description

Level 2 Technical support with a focus on security, governance and technology infrastructure service delivery.

This role will be responsible for:Incident Management:– Point of escalation for all country Network/Security service issues (including out of hours support) to standard support contract terms. Joint responsibility with the country Operations Manager, for solving major incidents within the Infrastructure area.

  • Level 2 incident management for End User computing
  • Level 2 incident management for Compute (backup IT Operations Lead)
  • Level 2 escalation point for Service Management area
  • Active Directory Management

Network Services Delivery:

  • Managing circuit providers
  • Managed services providers management (incident, change, problem management)
  • Change Management for network infrastructure
  • Service improvement
  • Proactive service monitoring
  • Point of Escalation for Incident Management related to local network services

Security & Compliance:

  • Control Owner for Local IT Controls
  • Execution of Self-Testing for IT Controls
  • License Management
  • Change Coordinator
  • Ensures compliance to all security policies and standards within Romania
  • Reactive and proactive security incident management including assisting with escalated incidents and major incident analysis.
  • Responsible for computer room security across Romania – includes but is not limited to Access Control, Physical (Environmental) Security and Operations Security

Key Competencies Required:Technical Expertise• Significant experience within network infrastructure and security, deep understanding of specialist areas of network technology and a good working knowledge of non-specialist Infrastructure technologies sufficient to guide team through ITIL Incident, Problem and Change management processes.• Deep understanding of IT Controls, testing and reporting• Cisco CCNA, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Sharepoint, Powershell scripting• Deep functional knowledge of security threats and prevention techniques• Experience of working in multinational organizations in a security role• Experience of working within a large IT organizations governance and control• Knowledge of all BIS areas impacted by Security (Technology, Service, Business Solutions)

Communication & Influence• Ability to develop and deliver clear and concise verbal and written communication. Instil confidence in key stakeholders especially during crises.• Experience of articulating security topics to senior, non IT stakeholders (written and oral)
Customer Service• Demonstrates (and cultivates) a Service-oriented attitude ensuring the needs of users are met to maximize business process efficiency.
