HEALTH & SAFETY, ENVIRONMENTAL and SECURITY MANAGER

Responsabilities

• Ensure a secure working environment for all employees, contractors and visitors of the company;
• Ensure environmental protection within the company, according to the legislation in force and the company’s policies;
• Identification of hazards and risk assessment for each component of the work system, respectively performer, work load, work equipment and the work environment on the job / workstations;
• Develop, implement, monitor and update the prevention and protection plan;
• Developing of instructions for the application of the health and safety regulations in the company, as well as the coordination of their communication;
• Propose the tasks and responsibilities in the field of occupational safety and health, which correspond to every position/function;
• Verification of the acknowledgment and application by all employees of the actions stipulated in the prevention and protection plan, of the instructions, as well as of their attributions and responsibilities at work related with health and safety;
• Developing training-testing program at company level;
• Ensure preparation of the action plan in case of serious and imminent danger and ensure that all employees are trained for its application according to the legislation;
• Keeping track of high and specific risk areas according to the legislation in force;
• Establish areas requiring occupational safety and health signaling, determination of the required signaling type and location according to the legislation in force;
• Perform internal controls / audits at workplaces, identify deficiencies and propose measures to remedy them;
• Identification of the individual protective equipment required for work stations according to the legislation in force;
• Coordinate the relationship with the healthcare provider;
• Coordinate the protection and security activity related to buildings and goods as well as persons (employees, contractors, visitors, etc.).

Requirements

• Experience in health, safety, environmental, security activities preferred in a multinational company;
• Certifications in required field according with legal provisions;
• Good knowledge of technical skills;
• Excellent leadership skills;
• University degree;
• Very good command of English.
