A new and exciting ASIS Romania event, scheduled for October 26, with the topic: Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED), presented by Matthew R. Dimmick, CPP®, PSP®, CPD
Dear ASIS members,
I am very happy to announce the next ASIS Romania event, which is going to be an exciting event, with a special guest from US and with a very interesting topic, Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED), which will also tackle the new context of social distancing.
This presentation will be done by Mr Matthew R. Dimmick, CPP®, PSP®, CPD. Moreover. On this meeting will attend ASIS members from Israel, US and Canada and, at the end of the meeting, we’ll be able to exchange opinions and ideas with the other members. Below, you will find few words about Matthew Dimmick and the registration link and have a look on the attachment too. Please, bear in mind that we can invite also non ASIS members on this session.

Matthew Dimmick works for STV Incorporated, an engineering and architecture firm, in its Security and Resilience Services Team. He has over 20 years of domestic and international experience in the development, design, implementation, and management of programs involving all aspects of security and risk management. In this current role, he provides CPTED, physical security, technology scouting, operational security, security compliance, and organizational resilience management consulting services for a diverse range of markets. Mr. Dimmick is a volunteer leader with ASIS currently serving on the ASIS International Utilities Security Steering Committee as Secretary and continuing to serve in 2021 as the Committee’s Vice-Chair. In addition to his CPP and PSP certifications, he also has held the Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design Professional Designation (CPD) Designation from the National Institute of Crime Prevention since 2017. He thoroughly enjoys CPTED and the application of public art in security and has spoken several times on the topic for ASIS chapters and at events including the National Hurricane Symposium.
